1. Department of Business Management

2. Department of Botany

Course Duration Qualification & Eligibility Age Seats
M.Sc 4 Semesters Bachelor Degree of a University established by Law in India (with Botany as one of the subjects) in 2nd Division or with at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST) in aggregate in the subject concerned in three years of degree of Honours in the subject concerned as per HPU rules. Male: Not more than 26 yrs.
Female: Not more than 28 yrs.
SC/ST: Not more than 29 yrs.

3. Department of Biotechnology

Course Duration Qualification & Eligibility Age Seats
B.Sc (Hons) 6 Semesters 10+2 with 3 science subjects (PCB or any other Science subjects) with 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks Not more than 22 yrs. 50
M.Sc 4 Semesters Bachelor degree under 10+2+3 pattern of education in Science in Physical, Biological, Agricultural, Veterinary and Fisheries Sciences, Pharmacy Engineering/Technology, 4yrs. B.S. (Physician Assistant Course) or Medicine (MBBS) or BDS from any Institute/University recognized by HPU, Shimla/UGC, New Delhi with at least 55% marks (50% for SC/ST) as per HPU rules. Male: Not more than 26 yrs.
Female: Not more than 28 yrs.

4. Department of Microbiology

Course Duration Qualification & Eligibility Age Seats
B.Sc (Hons) 6 Semesters 10+2 with 3 science subjects (PCB or any other Science subjects) with 50% (45% for SC/ST) marks Not more than 22 yrs. 50
M.Sc 4 Semesters Bachelor degree under 10+2+3 pattern of education in Science with any of the subjects i.e. Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Genetics, Molecular Biology, Botany or Zoology or MBBS/B.V.Sc. from any Institute/ University recognized by HPU, Shimla/UGC, New Delhi with at least 50% marks (45% for SC/ST)as per HPU rules. Male: Not more than 26 yrs.
Female: Not more than 28 yrs.
SC/ST: Not more than 29 yrs.

5. Department of Chemistry

Course Duration Qualification & Eligibility Age Seats
M.Sc 4 Semesters Bachelor Degree of a University established by Law in India (with Chemistry as one of the subjects) in 2nd Division or with at least 45% marks (40% in case of SC/ST) in aggregate in the subject concerned in three years of degree of Honours in the subject concerned as per HPU rules. Male: Not more than 26 yrs.
Female: Not more than 28 yrs.
SC/ST: Not more than 29 yrs.

SCHOLARSHIPS

  1. Full fee scholarship to eligible students belonging to GEN/SC/ST/OBC/Other Categories (mentioned on www.hpepass.com, www.scholarships.gov.in); Subject to approval from Government.
